[Decarbonising the Smart Grid for Sustainable Living] Belt and Road Advanced Professional Development Programme in Power and Energy

To support infrastructure development and nurture talent for the Belt & Road countries, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) collaborates with leading industrial enterprises to organize a series of university-industry collaboration programmes, under the theme of “Belt and Road Advanced Professional Development Programme in Power and Energy”.
The programmes provide talks, seminars and field trips, sharing the latest industrial practices and cutting-edge research findings in the field of energy. In the past 3 cohorts (2018-2020), the programme had attracted more than 200 professionals from B&R regions, and generated nearly 5,300 contact hours.
Addressing the globe needs of sustainable development across energy sector, PolyU once again collaborates with the State Grid Corporation of China, The Hongkong Electric Company, Limited, and Xi'an Jiaotong University, to launch the new cohort of online training programme themed “Decarbonising the Smart Grid for Sustainable Living”, to be organized on 19 October – 5 November 2021.
This online workshops aim to provide a platform to connect senior executives and researchers of enterprises, government units and higher education institutions, incorporating systematic and innovative elements from cross-regional and multi-cultural perspectives.
